The basic “command – shift - 3” is a commonly used command by Apple users to capture the screenshot of whatever is currently showing. This is no secret as many users currently know about how to do this to capture the entire screen. The other popular known tip is to use the “command – shift - 4” which will create a cross hair so that the user can pin point what they would like to copy. That is one of the most useful commands for editors.
Secret Tip:
The secret tip that most Apple users do not know about is the “control - command - shift 3 or 4”. This command sends the captured screenshot directly into the clipboard where y ou can then paste is wherever the heck you want. With the other commands the screenshot would become a file on your desktop. Most people send it right to Photoshop after they use the command.
