Popular Tournaments
One of the more popular tournaments is what they call the “Grand Tournament”. The direct buy-in is $450 but they have qualifiers running daily. As you can probably guess the payout for this tournament is enormous. It is one of the biggest tournaments you can play online. The prize pool is $1 million dollars.
We also liked the $20,000k guaranteed tournaments. The guaranteed tournament always went past full capacity so the guaranteed part meant nothing because there were plenty of players to make the payout more than $20k.
EuroPoker Sit n Go’s
The Sit n Go tournaments at EuroPoker fill very quickly. Because they are part of HoldemPoker and PokerRoom they share the same customer base so there are a lot of players online. That is always a plus when trying to pick a site to play Sit n Go’s. It has always been my theory that the quicker Sit n Go’s start the easier money is to make. My theory is that people hate to wait to enter a tournament. If they know in the back of their mind that if they get knocked out they can sit at another table in a matter of seconds they will play much more recklessly.
Anyway, I noticed that it always seemed to be easy to win at EuroPokers Sit n Go’s. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it. Stop by the Sit n Go tables and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Its as close to Party Poker as you are going to get in terms ease of making money at Sit n Go’s.
EuroPoker Freerolls
There is a pretty big freeroll held every day. The freeroll starts at 6PM ET and is open to registered members of EuroPoker. You do not have to deposit any money to enter the freerolls. If you win the freeroll or earn any money you must deposit and play real money to release the freeroll money. If you win the $75 for first place you must earn 300 player points to release the freeroll money.
Worst Attribute
I really wish they would offer the free tournament tickets more regularly. A lot of new players need these tournament tickets to get used to online poker. I think it is always a good idea for an online poker room to offer good freerolls to new players. It would be nice if EuroPoker made their first time deposit tournament ticket permanent.
Best Attribute
EuroPoker is very easy to make money at when playing the Sit n Go tournaments. The tournaments fill very quickly and players are quick to lose their money. Try to play in some of the Grand Tournaments as well. They are a great way to make a lot of money in a relatively short period of time.
