| Full Contact Dates Pushed Forward Full Contact Poker has pushed forward their launch dates for the beta software. It is expected sometime possibly this weekend. We just might see who the new Network that will support Full Contact earlier than we had anticipated. According to the email we just received they might have the software ready by this weekend. Fullcontact Poker promotional numbers are also on the to do list for additional sign up bonuses.
This might be why we've seen Full Contact, Americas Cardroom, Alamo Poker, and Sportsbook.com having trouble with server issues the past couple weeks. Here is the email if you didnt get it.

Hi Bill Clinton,
The following is a brief update regarding FCP’s poker room and its impending transition to the new network.
To our Non-US players, we apologize that you were not able to begin playing again this week, temporarily through the Ongame network. Full Contact Poker’s new poker network decided to move up its BETA launch date by a week, and as a result, they needed to keep FCP’s poker room entirely shut down to facilitate the technical transition.
To all FCP players, our poker room should be up and running on the new network by the end of this weekend or the beginning of next week. For the most up to date information about our poker room status, you can visit the FCP forums. As a reminder, to start playing again at FCP, you must download the new poker software client (once available on the website) and then transfer money from your cashier account to your poker account.
We’ve had a few questions about what we mean by a BETA launch, so let us explain in a little more detail. In no way will this compromise the fairness and integrity of the games and tournaments on the new network. And yes, the games are real. They are not test games and tournaments. Primarily, we want our players to know that in an effort to integrate with the new network as quickly as possible, we chose to launch before some of the other large poker sites which means the total number of players at the site will be smaller than normal in the first couple weeks, and we will still be ironing out some minor technical integrations between our website and our new poker room during the next couple weeks as well. For those of you who started playing at FCP when it originally launched, you’ll recall a few minor inconveniences, and then also recall that we fixed them right away. We expect a similar scenario during this re-launch.
Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we’ll see you back at the poker tables real soon.
Sincerely,
FCP Administration |
