FullContact Poker is Daniel "The Kid" Negreanu's poker site. He previously just had a forum and poker community until the site was purchased and a poker room was built on the site.
Full Contact will most likely switch network providers and not stay Mac compatible. Fulltiltpoker is not to be mistaken with Full Contact Poker. The names are similar but the rooms are not.
Full Contact for Mac
When Full Contact was with the Ongame Network they were Mac compatible but in upcoming weeks we don't expect them to stay Mac compatible.
Full Contact Poker for Linux
Full Contact Poker is no longer Linux compatible. Hopefully we will see a Java software in the future for Linux users.
Full Contact Promotion Bonus Codes
The current Full Contact Poker promotion code is only available by using this link. This will bypass the need of a promotion code for Full Contact Poker. This will ensure a 100% up to $500 first time bonus.
I have also been told that re-load bonus codes will be offered during months to come. We checked and reload bonuses are already going on for members of the poker room. Bonus codes for reloads will be listed here as they come along.
High Stake Games
Unless Daniel is playing no real high stakes games are played at Full Contact Poker. Sometimes the $5,000 tables would fill up but don't count on it.
Best Attribute of Fullcontact Poker
The forum that Negreanu has at Full Contact Poker excelled in that category. He also has a video blog which is very interesting if you follow poker gossip and shenagins like that. The forum generally had a pleasent atmosphere with people respecting each other unlike places like 2plus2 where pros tend to chat on message boards and railbirds bash every word spoken.
Worst Attributes
The Java software seemed really stripped. It felt just very bland and boring. They need to spice up the color scheme a tid bit to get the juices flowing before playing. Not like colors are that big of a deal but a more vibrant look would be good.
Tight or Aggressive
Generally a passive, weak, and tight poker room. This is no Party Poker with all-in calls every other hand. Some people talk of funky beats at FCP but I have yet to see them. Most bad beats were caused by weak players who slow played hands.
Bad Beat Factor
Get your money in with the best hand. Watch out for all-in plays above the $1/2 tables. Players seemed to have it when they bet big and weren't likely to be stone cold stealing.
Freerolls
The only freeroll we could find at Full Contact Poker was the $50,000 freeroll. The ticket was awarded to players who qualified for the Poker Classic tournament. Other than that freeroll we couldnt find any others going on.
Bonus Requirements for Full Contact Poker
The $200 bonus structure was not listed on the website. After playing for a little bit I assume it's similiar to PokerRoom.com's bonus layout. If so then you earn $1 for every 7 points released.
What's Unique at FullContact Poker
The video blog of Daniel Negreanu and the bustling forum were unique. It was nice to get a poker pros comments on certain topics and Daniel is usually hanging around the forum to answer questions.
Full Contact Poker Mac System Requirements
To play at Full Contact Poker on a Mac you must have 10.2.8 or greater installed on your Mac. Java is also necessary and to use the download version Windows is required. The poker site works on Mozilla, Safari, or Internet Explorer.
