iPod Bonus Promotion

Some serious hours need to be spent playing to get the iPod released.  In order to receive the iPod you must clear 15,000 points.  The release rate is .7 points per $1 in rake.  

Most $1-1 tables generally create $1 in rake per hand or sometimes a little more.  Let's just say you play 5 hours a day for the next 60 days.  You will end up just shy of releasing the iPod at 12,600 points which is still a ton of poker playing. 

Let's be honest.  The only real chance of getting the iPod released in 60 days like they require is to play multiple tables.  If you are a multi-tabler it will be a breeze to clear the bonus and iPod promo.  Again you need 15,000 points in 60 days plus you must deposit $200 or more for your first initial deposit.

Bonus Clearance Rate

Playing low limit games the bonus was mild to moderate in clear time. High stakes games were no problem. Choosing the correct bonus is essential to receive bonus money before it expires.

For the cash bonuses you can pick a bonus of $50, $75, $100, and $1000. It is benefitial to pick the poker room related to the stakes of games you play. If you are a low stakes player it is much easier to clear the $50 bonus so you should choose that. For high stakes players you should choose the $1000 bonus due to the nature of the bonus raked hand requirements.

The ease of registration and game load time was Hollywood Poker's best attributes. There seemed to be no lag in the Java based or no download software.

None. If we are nit picking then we did not like that our password had to be eight characters long. :)

Player Style Base

Tight poker room at the 5 man games. Play aggressive at the short handed games here. Players were very tight. Tournaments were opposite. Players loosened up and were aggressive and like to call at the sit n go tournaments.

Bad Beat Factor

You can expect a low bad beat factor at the cash games but in tournaments you will be biting your tongue. Players tend to call a lot at the tournaments thus increasing the bad beat factor at Hollywood Poker’s tournaments and sit n go’s.

Hollywood Poker Freerolls

A $4000 freeroll is the largest one they have. You will have to accumulate points during real money play to get entry into this freeroll. Playing mid stakes it takes a few hours to earn 100 points.
