| Adobe Premiere on the Mac Rebirth According to Macworld.com Adobe has just announced they will bring back the Adobe Premier on a Mac after they quit doing so back in 2003 due to a lack of market size. The Adobe premier is aimed at the video making aspects for pro creators. The premier software will be packaged in a large bundle with programs like Soundbooth and Encore.
Adobe made the decision to begin offering this product to Macs once again because of the growing popularity of the Intel Macs. Because of this the software will only be available on Intel Macs.
Simon Hayhurst the director of product management for Adobe said it was a difficult decision to initially pull the product line for Mac users. The switch by Apple to the Intel Macs made the re-birth easier. He also said that this will help sales volumes for Macs.
In the new version will be much different from the previous Mac premier versions. The Mac Adobe Premiere will have the same functions and accessories as does the Windows premier edition.
The product is expected to be released sometime in June of 2007.
