The Intel Core Duo processors have been installed in the new 24in iMacs that Apple revealed making them much faster.

This is to be the fastest line of iMac models ever released by Apple.  The Intel Core Duo processor will make these models 50% faster and better performing.  This model being released is the 24in iMac.

The screen color of the new iMac will have a more lush, vibrant, and visual appealing brightness.  The enhanced color aspects will let web designers, movie watchers, or just internet webpage surfers have a more delightful experience while online.

How much of a dent will the iMac put in customers wallets?  The new iMac models will begin at just under $1000 depending on whether you get the 1.83ghz or upgrade to the 2.3ghz.

These iMac lines will come with iLife as well.  iLife can be used to make movies, create DVD’s, develop your music line, or enhance you blog.

One of the more advanced and popular feature is iSight which also comes pre-installed in the new iMacs.  iSight is a built in web cam product without having to purchase software.  The program is built in and ready to go.  Boy friends and girl friends can visually chat to each other in different countries.  Up to three people can get into the group talk.

For those who like upgrades the iMac graphics can be bumped from 128MB 7300GT to a 256MB 7600GT.

Users who expected a price drop in the Mac Mini’s will not receive one.  Apple has decided to keep the price stable for now with users confirming that the 20 and 24inch iMacs are a steal at the beginning price.
