Disney has purchased Pixar for an astounding $7.5 Billion

In a 100% stock transaction Disney is now the proud owner of Pixar. This brings possible changes in jobs for Apple. There is still speculation on what will happen with the partnerships between Apple and Pixar.

Animations and graphics has a large impact on the creative studios and Apple itself. The President of Pixar is Ed Catmull and will now become the new President of animation studios for Disney / Pixar. The Chief Creative officer of animation studios will be ex-Pixar executive John Lasseter.

Some believe that the bringing together of Pixar and Disney may cause some feuds between other partnerships with Apple. Only time will tell what this huge buyout by Disney will mean for the relationships between Apple and other partners.
