The Circle of Outlaws

Antonius is a member of the “Circle of Outlaws” which is a poker group started by Marcel Luske who primarily taught Patrick his style.  The Circle of Outlaws is a group of 10 young up and coming poker pros who make hundreds of thousands playing online poker.  Marcel says he hand picks his members by solely choosing poker players who dominate and are also good people.  He doesn’t want a member who gets upset and throws cards.

Other members of the Circle of Outlaws include the Mizrachi brothers, Scott Flansburg, Luca Pagano, Noah Boeken, Erica Schoenberg, Jules Leyser, Frank Sinopoli and Marco Traniello who is the husband of professional poker star Jennifer Harman.

Patrick’s Online Career

Patrick plays both online poker and live poker.  He is most successful at the internet Limit Holdem games.  Many call him the best Limit Holdem player on the internet.  Patrick’s bankroll is estimated to be above 10 million, although he keeps this private even from his fiance.  He was quoted as saying, “I don’t even know how much I have.  One time I counted and was 2 million off”.  A big online rival to Antonius is Prahlad Friedman who goes by Zweig.

Earlier is his career one of Patrick’s goals was to make $5 million dollars playing online poker.  He now plays in the “Big Game” so we could assume he’s reached that mark.

Patrick was not always a high stakes player.  It wasn’t until the beginning of year 2005 when he really went nuts.  Before then you could see him playing $150 and $200 live game tournaments.  Now those buy-ins don’t even cover his blinds.
