Pitbull Poker does have instant bonuses but the customer representative has to call you before you can get the bonus.  Generally they call within 24 hours.

During sign up they send you a validation code so you must verify.  Their software runs flash so everything is done on the website instead of an actual downloaded software program.  This makes things a little more difficult because sometimes you are not too sure where to start but all no download sites are like that.  Since they run a Flash software they are compatible with Linux, Macs and Windows.


$30 Upfront Bonus

There are 3 different bonus types.  We believe the best one is the $30 bonus because you get it upfront.  You have to deposit $100 to get the $30 bucks so make sure you put in the entire amount.

$10 Upfront Plus $200 Bonus

The other instant bonus at Pitbullpoker.com is the $10 bonus which does not require a deposit.  For this bonus you get $10 upfront and also a 200% up to $200 bonus.  Not a bad bonus but you have to clear the $200 bonus by playing.  In either case both the $30 and the $10 bonus are given to you as soon as a representative calls you.  Try using the live chat box and things will go through much quicker.

$750 Bonus 

The third bonus at Pitbull is a 200% bonus up to $750.  This is the worst bonus and there is really no reason to choose this one unless you play a lot of poker.

Keep this is mind on the non-upfront bonuses.  You need player points to get that bonus released.  Because there are limited amounts of people playing higher than the $.1/.25NL tables it takes a long time to generate player points.  The rake needs to reach over $1 for you to get a player point and at those stakes it just won’t happen.

Pitbull Poker Freerolls

They have tons of freerolls.  Pitbull Poker just bumped up their freerolls to $50 during the hours of 8:30am to 11:30pm.  During the other hours they run freerolls the pot is $25.  

The freerolls usually have about 150 players and up and seem to be very popular.  You can only win about $14-$20 if you win the freeroll.  It’s something to do but you’re not going to get rich off the freerolls.  They don’t make you use player points to play in the freerolls.

Best Attributes

The best thing you’ll find at Pitbull Poker are the bonuses.  There is such a wide variety to choose from.  Not too many online poker rooms like to give upfront money either.  As of right now the only sites to do this are Pitbull and Pacific Poker.  You can’t go wrong with free money.

Worst Attributes

The site seemed a little slow.  That might be because it is flash software.  The player volume was also a very low.  The player volume should increase since they are a very new site.  They did only have 1 table max but now you can play up to 4 tables at once.

Bad Beat Factor

It was really too hard to judge if there were bad beats.  When more players begin to join I have a feeling you will see a lot of bad beats due to loose play.  The loose play will be caused by the free money they give away.  It’s the same thing you see at Pacific Poker.  Upfront bonuses = Loose Play = Bad Beat Central.

What’s Unique

Pitbull Poker is the only online poker room to run on Flash.  This does create some limitations but for compatibility purposes you can’t beat it.  The flash software also has really good graphics with a clean interface.
