| Removed Pre-Paid Teleco - Added Marketing Codes If you use our deposit page you'll notice that most of the pre-paid teleco funding options that sites like Bodog, Absolute Poker, and Poker.com were using have a "This option is no longer available" sentence in front of them.
Also we just launched the Poker Stars marketing code webpage which details how to get $50 at Poker Stars through us. The pre-paid teleco bomb was bound to happen. According to a friend from internet-poker.co.uk the Department of Justice shut down the company running the deposit options. I don't know the whole story but add-funds, nucharge, and all those sites got the kabash last week by the poker rooms. So basically those reviews are now rendered useless.
To be honest with you, I don't know why Poker Stars wants us to offer you "marketing codes" now but my guess would be that in the future we'll be able to give better bonuses to players who come here and signup with these codes.
The way they have it now, the marketing codes really don't benefit the player necessarily unless the "deposit bonus code" is used along side it. That's the only way you're guaranteed the bonus. But, either way we added a review of how it works in case you're interested or if other affiliates are reading this and wondered how it works.
I've been slowly redoing the bonus calculator rates but it's been a real major pain in the butt. I have a few people in mind that I am going to hire to finish the project, it is just who wants to do it first. Basically it's taking up too much time so I decided to let someone more experienced with analytic type stat collection have the project. Either way I think the end bonus calculator will be much better.
