Taylor Caby Quick Bio

Taylor Caby is a professional online poker player who attended the University of Illinois and studied Finance.  He goes by screen name “Green Plastic” at UltimateBet.com and "Tay" at Fulltiltpoker.com.  He was nicknamed “The King of Cash” by FoxSports.  Taylor was born in 1983 which would make him 24 at the time of this biography.

How It All Began

Taylor began playing poker when he was 13 with his family.  It was not until his freshman year in college that he began playing online poker at UltimateBet.com.  His first deposit was in the amount of $35 where he succeeded in turning his bankroll into six figures.  Taylor did so by gradually starting out on the $5 Sit and Go’s moving all the way up to the $50/100 cash tables.  These are the largest cash games on UltimateBet for No Limit Holdem.

Outside of Poker

When Taylor is not playing poker he aims at building successful businesses.  His goal in life is to own several thriving companies.  Taylor got his first look at Wall Street when a private investor offered him an internship while playing online.  The company was so pleased with his abilities that they offered him a job as soon as he graduated college.  Caby turned down the offer to pursue his poker career.

Sticking to the fundamentals are Taylor ’s keys to success.  He believes playing very aggressive while in position and tighter when out of position.  The persistent ability to not go on tilt is one reason Taylor Caby says he is so successful.
