Linux Casino Online
Linux and Unix Compatible Casinos
Linux users face the same type of problems trying to play an online casino as finding a poker room on Linux room. Linux casino players take up a very small percentage of the market so as you can see there is a short list of Linux casinos. Out of the many casinos we contacted this is the list that said they have tested their software on Linux and guaranteed compatibility.
Casino software for Linux
The same concept for Linux poker applies for Linux casinos. Many of the casinos will use a Flash style software or a lite download version to keep the games running quick. JVM is also used. Many times Linux will run on other Flash casinos but that doesn’t always hold true. The casinos listed below assured us they were Linux casino compatible.
|Linux Casinos||Bonus||Flash / Java||Review||Payout||Visit|
|Slotland Casino||$100||Runs on Site||yes||98%||play|
|888 Linux Casino||$200||Flash||yes||97.6%||play|
|Casinoeuro||$111||Flash & Java||yes||95.17%||play|
Stability and Downloading?
These casinos have been tested by other linux users but not all variations of Linux have been tested. If you are still having trouble playing at your desired casino you either might want to update your Java or try using a different version of Linux if it is possible. Even trying a different Linux compatible casino might work.
There are no online casinos that natively work on Linux in which you can download and play. The market is no large enough and unlike the Mac market the Linux market share remains stable so we don’t predict any online casinos to build an online casino platform with the Linux player in mind.
Mozilla Firefox is our recommended browser for casino gaming on Linux. That along with a Java based casino and you should have no problems. You can always choose to Dual Boot if none of the casinos above are to your liking, but I’m assuming you chose Linux in order to not run Windows or even Wine.
