Absolute Poker Confesses to Hold Card Cheating

According to pocketfives.com, Absolute Poker has finally confessed to the cheating scandal where certain Absolute Poker executives were able to view hole cards of other players and used the cheat to steal hundreds of thousands (possibly millions) from online poker players.

In a phone call made to one of the site operators of a poker forum called pocketfives.com Absolute Poker said the following.

We can say that our systems were compromised and are prepared to provide the details in a statement shortly.”

According to the statement by Pocketfives, all players affected by these players will be re-imbursed for being cheated by those having the ability to see other players cards while at the table.

This announcement comes only a few days after Absolute Poker made a statement that there was absolutely no way anyone could see hole cards and that their site was safe.  The statement was obviously false and the truth is finally starting to come out.  Some say they were trying to cover it up while others blame it on a lax security department.

Constant pressure was put on Absolute Poker after hundreds of poker players analyzed a hand history report that was accidently emailed to an Absolute poker player.

This excel spreadsheet revealed undeniably that there was something fishy with Absolute poker and that the player, Potripper, was indeed seeing other players cards.

While no cheaters have yet to be named it is rumored that a possible culprit is the CEO and owner, Scott Tom or his best friend, former director of operations of Absolute poker and current director at nine.com, AJ Green.  Absolute Poker admits to the “potripper” account being owned by AJ Green.
