DanielMario and Reloadngo Bad Beat Bots?

A Bad Beat jackpot is meant to compensate a player for the misery suffered when he holds an almost dead certain winning hand but goes on to lose because another player held a better hand. Most online poker rooms offer a Bad Beat compensation.
Many do it in the form of a jackpot. Here the amount goes on increasing with every deal till the jackpot is hit. The Absolute Poker – Ultimate Bet network offers a Bad Beat jackpot. A few days ago a table missed out on a Bad Beat by a whisker.
The main protagonists were DanielMario and Reloadngo. DanielMario was dealt the eight and nine of hearts whereas Reloadngo was dealt the king and ace of hearts. The community cards opened as the ten, jack and queen of hearts and the seven and eight of clubs. DanielMario had a queen top straight flush in hearts and Reloadngo had a royal flush in hearts. Because DanielMario lost with a straight flush the Bad Beat should have come into play. At that time the jackpot was $350K. After deducting the house contribution, DanielMario would have got $122.5K, Reloadngo would have got $61.25K and the other players would have shared $61.25K. But all came to naught.
There is a rider to the Bad Beat jackpots. The pot has to be at least $5.00. For some inexplicable reason the pot in this case was $4.75, only $0.25 short of the minimum value. The chat box for the hand shows that the other players exploded at having lost out on a windfall, and understandably so. Meanwhile DanielMario and Reloadngo, who should have ensured that the pot reached $5, are maintaining a studied silence. Experts are attributing two possible reasons for this costly lapse. One is that the players were not aware of the minimum pot requirement. The other is that they were probably multi tabling and therefore not paying attention to the going on. And the most logical, they were bots!
Meanwhile the Bad Beat jackpot has crossed $500K and is rising fast (hit at the time of this article). This is typical of progressive jackpots. As the amounts rise, players migrate to the jackpot in the hope of hitting it and this migration raises the jackpot faster. The next player on a designated Bad Beat table at Absolute Poker or Ultimate Bet who loses with a hand of four eights or better will win at least $162K. One thing is for sure. Players will ensure that the pot reaches $5 before they see the flop. This is what brand ambassador Annie Duke had to say. “Another life-changing jackpot is about to be hit at the online poker tables. One lucky Texas Hold’em player is about to win in a day what most people make working several years. It’s unbelievable.”
