Australian Police Taunted by Poker Playing Inmate

An escaped prisoner from Australia took his love for poker a bit too far by taunting the police while on the run. Justin Grant was being escorted to a nearby hospital from a Townville Prison after suffering a hand injury and decided to use the opportunity to make a run for it.
North Carolina Crushes Sweepstake Cafes

Governor Bev Perdue of North Carolina was true to her word and finalized a bill this week that will essentially shut down sweepstakes cafés in the state for good. Until now, these cafés were operating only through a legal loophole, but Perdue was determined to see the back of them.
