Doing Some New Year Cleaning

With the new year here I will be going through the site to make some much needed changes.
Many pages have become obsolete because of the gambling laws and need to be changed or deleted badly. That along with some asthetic changes will be going on.
In general I try and comb through the site to make sure things are as accurate as possible but with the way things change as of late, it seems to be impossible.
Funny enough, I got an email from a visitor complaining about how one of our biography pages was all wrong. Turns out it was, but the changes that needed to be made literally happened that day when the player’s bio in question came out of the “cheating closet” so to speak. Anyways, after being called a liar because we had some misinformation I decided it’s time to do some early spring cleaning.
One area I really want to redesign are the main Mac pages. The charts are pretty ugly and this needs to be changed. My webdesigner always does a great job (Hi Bobi) with whatever needs to be done so I’m sure he’ll work up some cool looking charts.
I was also thinking about redoing our logo, but keeping the same look. It’s been over 2 years since the header of the site was made and I think it’s time to freshen things up a bit.
Over the past year, the US page where we make all the updates has really consumed my time. It’s pretty difficult trying to stay on top of all the changes and that’s one thing I wanted to always do myself, because to me it’s very interesting and I take pride in that page and the people I’ve met through it. That’s the main reason you’ll notice that I have brought in two content writers to write the poker news and poker rumors sections. They do a great job anyways, much better than I do so it works out.
So over the next month you’ll notice minor tweaks here and there. The forum will be back up and running this month also with a new lineup of freerolls thanks to Sharon (ladywrestler) who was kind enough to volunteer to run them.
If you have any suggestions please don’t hesitate to contact me. Unless you’re like that one guy who bashed me and our site for something that was literally out of our control.
