eChecks on the Comeback Trail at Poker Stars?

eChecks on the Comeback Trail at Poker Stars? Before the UIGEA passed poker echecks were probably the easiest way for players to deposit. That is of course for those poker players whos credit cards have never worked.

In the last few months echecks have slowly come back to a semi-reliable opportunity to deposit for US players according to Poker Stars.

Almost all poker sites were instantly cut off from allowing their customers to use echecks as a deposit option after the UIGE Act passed.Bodogcasino.com and a few others like Carbon Poker kept the option open but on a very limited basis.

As of the past couple months Pokerstars.com has been tweaking their echeck deposit option for US players. In a statement on their site it now says they want to have this option available for all players shortly.

If you were one of the lucky ones to have this method given to you at Poker Stars well…you weren’t exactly lucky. They were plagued with late withdraws and bad debt problems. Basically players were receiving withdraws from their bank accounts months after the charges were made.

Poker Stars says they have cleared up this bad debt and have moved forward with integrating and allowing more players to use the poker echeck deposit option. At Poker Stars it’s called “Instant eChecks” and can be found in the upper left hand corner of the cashier. That is of course if you’ve been selected.

Other ewallet methods which we previously discussed look to circumvent the tedious process of depositing by using unique ideas to make depositing into poker sites capable with all major credit cards. Pic-Club and Duplicate Poker look to do this in the immediate future.

Things are looking more optimistic every day but in this industry where things change at the drop of a hat, nothing is certain.
