Europe World Series of Poker

Harrah’s will now have a European version of their popular US World Series of Poker which gained so much popularity during the past 4 years.
The event is expected to be held in London from September 6th thru the 16th. Similar to the WSOP in Vegas, players from around the globe can play.
The tournaments will be held at 3 different casinos in London. They are the Sportsman, The Leicester Square, and the Fifty. All three are owned and operated by London Clubs International.
The first tournament of the European World Series of Poker will be a £2500 HORSE event in the Leicester Square. A pot limit Omaha event will also be held here on the 8th of September for £5000.
Online WSOP qualifiers are now being held at multiple online poker rooms. There have yet to bet any launched for the European Event but the American tournaments are going in full force.
The European WSOP Main Event will be held at all 3 casinos in the beginning until the filed size is cut down. The buy-in will be almost double that of its United States counterpart event reaching £10,000 which is almost $20,000.
The event is expected to take of with flying colors. Online poker has seen dramatic increased popularity in the UK, Germany, Italy and surrounding European countries.
