Full Tilt Poker New Cashout Tournaments and Run it Twice

FullTiltPoker.com online poker room has recently announced the latest update to its already excellent software, and players are scrambling to try out the new features that promise to make their experience at this superb site even better.
Two new features star in the software upgrade, namely Cashout Tournaments and a ‘Run it Twice’ feature. I personally would be over there trying it but I’m in the “I hate poker stage” right now.
The Cashout Tournament is an innovative new way to enjoy tournament action by allowing players to withdraw a portion of – or all of –their chips at any stage during the tournament. The idea is to divide buy ins into two pools, one that forms the traditional prize pool, while the other forms a unique prize pool.
Any time before the final stage of the tournament, players can withdraw their chips from the event in 10% increments. Players also have the option of withdrawing all their chips, however this will cause them to be eliminated from the tournament altogether.
Naturally, the Cashout option is not available once players reach the final table. If there is any money left in the second pool, it is distributed among the remaining players at this stage of the game, determined by the size of their chip stack.
The second much-talked-about new feature at Full Tilt Poker is the ‘Run it Twice’ option.
Essentially, the ‘run it twice’ concept is better known to live TV poker fans. The idea is that when two players are all in, they can both reach an agreement at that point in the game to lay down any remaining community cards twice.
The up side of this tactic is that the player does not lose an entire chip stack on coin flip hands.
Full Tilt Poker’s new software now offers players the option to click the Run it Twice box and if they end up in a heads up all in against another player who also checked the box, the action begins!
The new feature is currently available at No Limit Hold ‘em tables, and certain other games; however Full Tilt Poker said that this option will expand to other tables in the future.
Players can also try out the new 7 Game tournaments introduced by Fulltiltpoker.com through its latest software upgrade.
