Golden Palace says it’s Over for US

Golden Palace has sent out emails to affiliates saying that they will no longer accept US players.
Poker and casino affiliates are usually the first to hear the bad news regarding gambling sites. Today an email was sent out from Golden Palace saying they are going to stop all US players in the near future.
The exact date the halt will commence has yet to be released. US players will soon be redirected to a casino called Goldencasino.com. Golden Palace says they are not affiliated with them but have made the decision to work with them on the US players.
It seems the main Golden Palace homepage is redirecting US players but the Golden Palace Blackjack site is not.
The news of this came as a big shock to many of those who are familiar with Golden Palace . It was thought that Golden Palace would work of the 11 state ban that so many casinos are currently adapting. Instead Golden Palace went the full fledged US ban route.
Golden Palace was also one of the only online casinos for Macs.Bodogcasino.com is now the only major brand remaining left for US Macintosh users.
The ban that set out to affect online gambling transactions has set off a domino affect across the industry with many casinos packing up their bags.
Places like Bodog will make enormous profits in the next couple months before deposit methods are closed up. According to Michael Bolcerek of the Poker Players Alliance, “Players will always find a way around the law.”
This is the scary part about the new law. It was set in place to protect those with gambling problems. Instead the casual players will drop out and the die hard “addicts” will find ways to continue. For now Golden Palace won’t be on the list of sites they can play.
Updates on exact dates of the Golden Palace US ban can be tracked at the U.S. accepted poker and casino news page.
