Heading to the PCA in Style or Not

Tomorrow is the big day for me. It will be the first time since I’ve flown since 9/11.
The last time I flew things were totally different so I decided to use some of the private jet credits that Chipleader gave us when we won their Jet Promo.
There were no direct flights from Jacksonville to the Bahamas (Atlantis) where the Poker Stars Carribbean Adventure is being held so I said F it….we’re going private.
Both me and my biatch, Matt, will be flying out of St. Augustine. It’s pretty cool, you just pull up to the tarmac and they’re even letting me park the Ferrari in the hanger.
That is, if I end up going. Like I was saying, flying is not my thing. I don’t even like to let other people drive, it must be that feeling of not having control. I could care less if the plane crashed or there was terrible turbulence it just makes me sick knowing I’m not the one flying the plane. Weird I know but wtf.
So because of that I will be downing multiple pills and hopefully won’t know my name by the time I set foot on the jet. The plane we are taking is a Beechjet 400A. It’s a smaller plane but still goes like 500mph making the flight only an hour away.
I talked to Andreas from internet-poker.co.uk and he said the hotel rooms are sick. Plus pokerstars is picking up the tab on all the food…steak and lobster, oh my! If I flip and wuss out Im going to hate myself for life.
And….as I write this, Carly of Pokerstars is bragging to me how good the food is on MSN. Oh, and it turns out Andreas just might be addicted to Roulette, ha. Kris from poker.com will be there and Tyson from flopturnriver.
Oh, and a big thanks to Cheryle from Slotsgeek for hooking up the wordpress design so that people can post and all other sorts of goodies that I can do behind the scenes.

I know exactly how you feel about the control thing or lack thereof. I hate being the passenger

Very cool, I have a good buddy of mine playing in the main event there. Oh, and I’m the same way about control and totally hate flying!

How’d your buddy end up doing Randy? That tournament would have been grooling to play in. Prob. hard to concentrate when it’s so nice outside too by the pool.

It was one of the best trips I’ve been on (non surfing related). I feel like designing some sort of website for private jet services just for the hookups. Flying private is soooo awesome!
