Merge Poker Network Sees Increase in Traffic

There is no denying that the Merge Poker network has clearly benefited from the migration of a number of top poker sites to its platform in recent weeks. Since the sites such as Players Only, Super Book and Sportsbook joined the network, the site has reported an incredible 160% increase in traffic. These statistics were confirmed by pokerscout.com. In addition, the Merge Poker Network has managed to climb from 20th place on the table of leading poker networks to 17th place in the space of only one week.
The improvement across the board also reflects on other poker sites on the Merge Network, who enjoy an automatic increase in real money cash game players. As such, the network is reportedly approaching 1000 of these players at peak time, which is seen as welcome news.
Many in the industry believed that these poker rooms’ previous home, the Cake Poker Network, would lose its number ten spot on the list after they migrated from the platform, however Cake seems to be holding its own. True, since the three online poker rooms left its network, Cake has seen a decline of 16% of its traffic. But many are positive that with top sites on this platform such as Doyles Room, which continues to draw the crowds with its great promotions and incentives, the Cake Poker Network will manage to retain its position.
The healthy competition between the two networks is extremely beneficial to US online poker players. Great promotions and bonuses, increased real money cash game players and a much wider choice means that players from North America are kept entertained and rewarded around the clock.
Add to this the fact that the currently eighteenth placed Everleaf Network – home of Victory Poker – is also US facing, and it is easy to see why US poker players are so optimistic about their future.
