New iPhone App for Poker Players Released

A free iPhone application for poker players has been released by MobWeb.ch. Simple Poker Blind Timer 1.1 allows players to customize their blinds with up to 20 blind levels, alerting them when the level is over. The company claims that this will prevent the problem of forgotten or late blind raises.
The new app boasts an easy to use interface, with highly intuitive features and is available in four languages, namely German, French, Portuguese and English.
A handy feature is the fact that the timer is not disturbed if players close the application, meaning that all the information is stored and saved.
Some of the other main features of the new app include the fact that the 20 customizable blind levels have individual lengths, and that the app alerts the player by alarm and/or vibration.
The app also has a pause function, meaning that the app can be shut down and the timer will still continue to run in the background. The app displays all current information including the length of the current level and the total time that has been played.
To use the app, players will need to be in possession of an iPhone or iPod touch, with 0.2 MB. The iPhone needs to be OS 3.0 or later model.
Poker players find the new app useful and appealing, and MobWeb.ch says that it has achieved around 1,000 downloads per month thus far. The app is free of charge and can be obtained worldwide through the App Store.
MobWeb, created just this year, is based in Switzerland and creates websites and develops applications for mobile devices.
