Pitbull Poker Goes Down In Twoplustwo Fight

Message boards and news sites on the internet were awash with the latest news that Pitbull Poker has shut its doors, following months of allegations that a cheating scandal was taking place.

Pitbull Poker first raised suspicions as soon as it was launched, by offering players $10 for simply opening an account. Expert said that if it looked too good to be true, it probably was, and since then amateur sleuths on sites such as 2+2 have been keeping a close eye on the poker site.

Over the past few months, many complaints have been made about the site, ranging from at least three superuser accounts, to bots at the tables and management’s hesitance to provide hand histories when requested.

In addition, it was discovered that contrary to claiming that the site was based in the United Kingdom, it is actually a Costa Rica based site.

This week, it was confirmed that Pitbull Poker has finally closed and the future of funds held in online poker accounts on the site was up in the air. Experts agree that those owed money by the site may not see it again.

There were rumors that the owners of Pitbull Poker, Kevin Baronowski and another known as Jordan, had been arrested by Costa Rican authorities after they tried to remove computers from their offices. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed and some online news sites are saying that they are unfounded.

It is known, however, that the two have been questioned by police following a dispute about unpaid salaries.

From the outside, Pitbull Poker seems to be up and running. It still boasts all its wares on its home page, including the fact that it is the ‘first flash poker room’, that it runs multi table tournament and that it offers real money or play for fun poker entertainment.

However, players who have tried to log in to their accounts have been met with an error message, with no further explanation.
