Poker Nordica (Merge) Responds to Payment Problems

Players who have been experiencing problems with payouts and support on the Merge Poker Network, may take some comfort in the fact that the matter has been addressed – or at least acknowledged by one of the partner sites on the network, Poker Nordica.
The Chief Executive Officer of the poker room, Mike Eloff, issued a public statement this week, voicing his concerns about payout delays and customer support and subtly pointed an accusatory finger at the Merge Poker Network.
With regard to criticism surrounding support, Eloff said that it had outsourced this side of the site to the Merge Gaming Network and “this is currently being worked on.”
Eloff said that the processing of deposits and withdrawals for the site was also done by the network itself, and not directly by Poker Nordica, as part of the support offered by Merge to its licensees.
The CEO said that the banking process was “left to the Merge Gaming Network” and that the site was “well aware of the problems that they have caused in the past regarding extremely late withdrawals.”
Poker Nordica was extremely concerned about the poor reputation it was earning for itself regarding late payments and Eloff said he was doing all he could to ensure that the problems were ironed out immediately.
“I have been in constant contact with the CEO of Merge Gaming to ensure that this problem gets sorted out as fast as possible, for the obvious reason that they are giving our brand a really bad name in the industry,” he said.
According to Eloff, there is cause for optimism among players who have yet to see their payouts and they should be seeing their money in the coming days as the network sorts out the backlog problem.
“This has been a long battle with Merge Gaming to get them to sort it out and they have assured me that all has been sorted out and that as of this week, all withdrawal times are being reduced to the standard times,” promised Mike Eloff.
