Online poker room Lock Poker doesn’t believe in doing things in by half. This popular poker site has decided to sign on some new young talent in the way of professional poker pros. But instead of signing on one or two like you’d find in the rest of the industry, Lock Poker announced that it was bringing seven pros into the fold.
The new members of the Lock Pro team include Mike Leah, who is on the shortlist to become Bluff Magazine Player of Year, Jason Young, 2008 WSOP bracelet winner, Joe “JoeytheB” Brooks, Lee Child, Matt “Allnat420” Stout and Jonathan Jaffe.
Bringing on board so many talented players was thanks in part to the new Vice President of Product Development at Lock Poker, none other than the very respected poker pro, Eric “Rizen” Lynch.
Lynch, who writes regularly for Bluff Magazine and also creates online poker training videos for PokerXFactor, was considered the natural man for the job to spice up the Lock Pro team with some fresh new talent. As such, his first move was to facilitate the signing up of seven new players.
“One of the most exciting aspects and driving forces behind me joining Lock Poker was getting an opportunity to have an impact on the business direction of the company” said Lynch.
“Accepting the position of Vice President of product development will allow me to really create the room for the player,” he continue. “This will give us at Lock Poker some really innovative and unique opportunities that leverage the unique abilities and personalities of these new pros moving forward.”
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lock Poker, Jennifer Larson also commented on the seven new players to join the Lock Pro team. “We are thrilled to welcome this incredible group of players as part of the Lock Poker family,” she said. “We will be integrating them into all aspects of the business. These Pro’s are the insight we need to really create the best online poker experience worldwide.”
