Pokerstars Hooking Me Up in Atlantis

Carly, my affiliate relations manager over at Pokerstars gave me word that they are hooking up ~10 website owners with a trip to their Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure tournament. Somehow I got lucky enough to get a spot.
Actually I’ve been working with Carly (pictured to right) for about 4 years now. She used to work for Ongame back in the day when she wouldn’t answer my emails for weeks, lol. She told me she’d hook it up, and she definitely did.
We get an all expense paid trip to the Atlantis Hotel (The Cove) for a week along with $600 in spending cash and paid airfare. Since it’s on the house might as well go First Class! They’re also paying for dinner every night and setting up the other touristy stuff for free. I’m down, the Aquariums look awesome there.
I’m not too sure if I’ll be playing in any of the poker tournaments going on. There is a $25K entry tournament in which there was a $2 million payout last year….if I recall. But I’m such a donk these days I’d likely be throwing money away so I might just play sidegames for fun.
It’s perfect timing too because even though I live in Florida, it’s fucking cold as hell. My friend Jasper is friends with Michael Jordan and he goes down there every year for the MJ celebrity golf tournament so I might have to make it an extended stay since he goes down a couple weeks after me. I’m sick of hanging out in Florida anyways.
Sooo, despite my fear of flying I’m going to do my best to make this trip. Shit, I haven’t flown since the days when you could get to the airport 15 minutes before takeoff. Carly hooked it up and it’ll be good times to meet some people face to face that I talk to everyday on the computer.
