Poker Stars Soon to be Bumped

The big wigs in online poker are now PokerStars, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to last much longer. Yesterday we did an analysis of actual poker player volumes at certain websites and found that Party Poker is rebuilding quickly.
Ok so let’s look at the very latest numbers. These are actual figures provided by Pokersitescout. We just made them into 5 day averages to get some more reliable numbers. By the way, this may seem like boring talk to some but it can be very important to those who make stock trades. I personally don’t but hell these numbers are making me think I should.
In the begininng of April our first five day average had Party Poker with an average of 10,963 real money people sitting down at a given time. That number is meaningless until you compare it to pre-US legislation when business was booming and all was golden in the gambling business.
So what’s your guess as to how many real money players Party Poker had before the gambling ban and they stopped taking US players. Surely in 6 months and losing over half their market the number was much higher. Nope, Party poker had 10,747 real money players sitting down enjoying a nice relaxing game as a 5 day average BEFORE any gambling bill was signed. That’s less than they now have present day!
Before Partygaming shut out US poker players they were trading in the 30-35 range but have since gone up to the 50’s in present day. Some of this is due to positive outlooks on online casino US markets which in my opinion is a joke. Any good news is only news and actual implementation of any good news is years away.
So why are all these poker sites experiencing such a huge increase in players, stock prices, and increase gains? They have gone global. Yeah the internet is global but previously the gaming software was not global. All instructions were in English but now you can download and play in just about any language you want.
Online poker will no doubt slowly dwindle into a mound of nothing but coals but the online gaming business is still burning brightly to the savvy marketers.
