Stripper Tells of Phelps Poker Dreams

Michael Phelps, the superb Olympic medalist who won gold eight times in the recent Chinese event, has made headlines again. The wild boy of the sports world only recently landed himself in hot water after a picture of him smoking a bong was smeared over every tabloid from here to Beijing.
Phelps had his swimming career suspended for 3 months as a result, and lost a number of lucrative sponsorship deals too.
This time, however, a stripper claiming to have lap danced with Michael and his pals has kissed and told about what went on in his apartment. Among other things, she said that his passions went over and beyond cozy threesomes, and that the swimmer was extremely set on becoming a professional poker player.
Theresa White, the stripper who claims that Phelps invited to his pad along with a few other ladies, said that he was extremely “into” online poker and one of his main ambitions in life was to turn pro.
Michael Phelps is no stranger to the world of poker. After winning in Beijing last year, he headed off to Caesar’s Palace in Vegas to try out his luck in a number of tournaments. He made the final table of the $1,500 No Limit Hold ‘em Event of the Caesar’s Palace Classic and cashed in at a number of other tables.
When asked at the time why he headed to Vegas after the once in a lifetime experience of Beijing, Phelps replied: “I love to play; it’s fun and exciting. I think this is a good time for me to learn some things, to pick up a few things in poker, to try to read people and learn the mindset that goes into it and everything — just to try something new. I’ve been playing for a few years, and I started getting more serious, and I’ve only played four live tournaments in my life. I’m just trying to get some more experience. I’m two for four on final tables, so that’s not bad.”
In the meantime, Phelps fans can read all about his alleged escapades with Ms. White and her friends, having her claim: “Michael should get another Olympic gold for marathon love-making!”
