This years 2005/2006 World Series of Poker Circuit events are drawing to an end as only 5 more stops are left on the circuit.

Poker players only have a few chances left to win their 2006 WSOP Circuit ring as there are only 5 more event hosts left on the tour. The first of the events were held at the Grand Casino in Tunica on August 11th, 2005.

This years Circuit events got started a little shaky as the 3rd host was cancelled. This event which was during the Hurricane Katrina disaster in Biloxi had to be cancelled. In total there are 15 events with 1 being cancelled leaving 14 for year 2005/2006.

The next stop for the WSOP Circuit events is going to be at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The event will be held on April 28 and go through the week until May 11th. The largest event being held is the Championship event which has an entry fee of $10,000. This is not to be mistaken for the World Championship event being held in Vegas on July 28th.

Any player to win a Circuit event will not only win a large sum of cash but also a WSOP ring.  The rings are made up of gold and diamonds. Players only receive bracelets during the actual WSOP events held on June 25th-August 10th. Rings are still rare but the bracelets are the coveted prize.

After players test their luck in Vegas the next stop for the Circuit will be New Orleans where Harrah’s says they plan on holding the event even though some parts of the city are still under construction from the latest hurricane. After New Orleans it’s off to Tahoe and then the Main Event at the Rio in Vegas which will be shown on T.V.
