The 360 Ferrari Modena Arrives
Written by Roger S | Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008
When I was younger the Viper was the pimp car around. As you can see, I no longer believe in the Viper. The body style just isn’t sexy anymore.
So I have been grateful enough to purchase my very first Ferrari.
It really was a no brainer between the Ferrari 360 Modena vs the Viper. The body style on the Viper just got too “modern” for me even though it’s fast as shit and costs a hell of a lot less than the Ferrari.
The real decision came between the Masserati Grantourismo and the Modena Ferrari. The Mas GT was sick. Me and Matt went to drive one at the Orlando Ferrari dealership. Only a week before they had the auto show and had 1 of only 300 Masserati GT Sport edition, 2009. They are priced reasonably too at about $130K.
The ‘08 Mas just wasn’t cutting it. The thing felt slow as hell and more like something you’d drive everyday…..I got a Jeep for that. I wanted something that straight up was meant for speed so decided on the older model Ferrari 360 Modena over the 2009 Masserati.
There’s no doubt about it this thing is fucking fast. They might as well take the 0-40mph off the speedometer because you could be going 100 and feel like you’re doing 40. The car is a bit jerky with the F1 paddle shifts but it’s so damn fun to drive.
One guy followed us home just to say nice car, and some guy stopped us to take a pic of it (this is not what I wanted in the car which is why Im going to get the windows tinted. Despite liking to go fast, I really don’t like to draw attention…if that makes any sense at all. Ok here are some pics with commentary.

(Just washed all the dust off it from the trip over from Arizona. I live in a shitty neighborhood so people are a little confused that a Ferrari is sitting in my garage, lol)

(Me trying to figure out how to turn the fucking radio on. Turns out you need a password….it has a cassette player in it! Old skool. There is a cd changer in the front though thank god.)
(No more than 12 hours later I drained the battery trying to figure out how to work the radio. Left the dome light on, doughhhh. The batter is in the passenger side where you put your feet, lol.)

(Random picture of it in my garage, which took all day to clean out for it’s arrival.)
If you ever have a chance to get a Ferrari, I 100% say go for it. So far it’s been so fun driving it. I can’t wait to let my brother and friends drive it to work at TPC and see what kind of reactions they get, ha. It’s just as fun watching others drive it.

Wow I can finally comment! That is a sick ride. Did you ever consider a Lamborghini Gallardo? Your new site design looks slick btw.

Thanks John. I call it “The Bum Magnet” instead of the “Chick Magnet”. All the sudden bums are asking for $10 spots instead of change!
The Lambo they might start asking for hundos.

Yeah those Ferarris just don’t pick up chicks like they used to. You should try getting a Trikke. I heard girls just fawn over those.

Rog,
Your Ferrari is beautiful. If you had a choice would you prefer it or the little yellow MG Midget I sold Joe when you were much younger?
Remember the watermelon?
