Tiffany Michelle Rejects Playboy

Tiffany Michelle has been out of the news since she ditched Poker News and teamed up with Ultimate Bet. That was sometime in July 2008. Even the much talked about legal battle that Poker News had promised has not materialized. Maybe Tiffany was right and that Poker News had no case. But you cannot keep a good woman down. Tiffany has popped her head in the limelight with a news item that will surely disappoint her male fans.
Tiffany has confided with Wicked Chops Poker that Playboy Magazine has asked her if she is interested in doing a nude photo shoot for them. And Tiffany claims that she has turned down the offer. She has given her reasons, which are being reproduced below.
“Obviously we passed on the offer to do the mag… well not ‘obviously’ but the nude thing isn’t really my vibe or the next step for my career. I’m all about sexy photo shoots just not nudie Playboy shoots. Plus, let’s be honest the largest rack I’ve ever had is when I was sittin’ behind 9-something-mill at the WSOP.”
That “9-something-mill” was tournament money and not the real stuff. What she got for her efforts at the WSOP Main Event was $335k, and surely Playboy has offered her more than that. However there was something that she got at WSOP that was worth more than the $335k cash and that was the title of “last woman standing”. And she would rather have people remember her for that than for doing a repeat of Jennifer ‘Jennicide’ Leigh. There appears to be a special reason why Tiffany went to Wicked Chops Poker (WCP) with the news and not to any other portal. In a Girl on Girl interview that she gave to Michele Lewis last year she had said, “Of course, I read WCP. It’s my, hands down, favorite poker site, not to mention that the WCP staff guys are the HOTTEST in the biz. They’re some of the greatest and most entertaining writers in poker.”
Along with this news WCP has compiled “a current tally of hot poker players who’ve bared all”. The list reads: Shannon Elizabeth, Jennifer Tilly, Brandi Hawbaker, Erica Schoenberg, Rhowena Colclough, Jennicide and Joanna Krupa. Jennicide, as mentioned earlier, did it for the April 2008 issue of Playboy Magazine. Her reason for doing it contrasts sharply with Tiffany’s reason for not doing it. That time Jennicide had said, “And after all, we’re all born naked. Playboy is classic. I really look at it as an art form; a celebration of a woman’s body.” Jennicide has disappeared after that shoot. Obviously Tiffany does not want to disappear.
