Top Poker Pros Using Drugs for Edge

In sports, players are using enhancing drugs to create themselves into a super athlete. So why not in poker? It is rumored that many well known tournament professionals are using and abusing certain drugs to gain an edge.
Yeah people are actually using steroids to play better poker. Ha, no, no the drug of choice among poker professionals is anti-anxiety and depression medicine. Drugs like Paxil and Xanax are making their way into the poker scene especially in tournament poker. These drugs have a calming effect that help diagnosed patients through panic attacks and manic-depression. Poker players illegally take the drugs so they don’t give off any tells while in the heat of action. So is this a problem? It could potentially be a problem if it becomes widespread but I don’t think drug testing thousands of poker players is in the near future. Half of the fields would be cut in half.
