Turning This into a Personal Blog

Turning This into a Personal BlogThis “site news” section never got read that much because while I made minor changes to the site, its really nothing much to talk about.

So I decided it would be fun to do a little bit of a personal blog….not that my life is all that exciting but why not. That’s me pictured to the right before a night out.

Im going to just go ahead and jump right into things.  This has been a crazy month with my friend in town from New Orleans.  He and my other friends love to party and while I’m not much of a partier I’ve found myself going out WAY too much with them.

It’s been cool having him in town, he likes to cook, and I completely suck at it.  In fact Im such a bad cook I had to take a picture of some pork chops I absolutely massacred on the grill.  They look like charcoal.  Here is Eric making fun of my cooking skills as he chokes down that brown thing that was once a pork chop.

If you haven’t noticed yet, Google just dinged Compatible Poker for purchasing ads and not placing no foll ow on the ads.  Its so bad my site doesn’t even appear for a search for “Compatiblepoker” ha.  They did it to a few other major big sites so whatever.  Our us online poker section still gets hundreds of thousands of return visitors and so does the website in general.  Im also confident the penalty will be lifted as what we were doing was not that bad and is pretty easy to fix.

It’s given me more time to play golf and hang out and just relax….even though my golf game sucks right now.  This round (pictured below) resulted in free drinks for the night and dinner from my good ol friend Eric, thanks for pressing the bets on the last two hole Eric. Glad you came in town E, don’t think I had to pay for dinner or drinks once!

We also played some poker while he was in town.  Let’s just say my poker skills aren’t up to par, lol.  In fact they down right suck.  In florida you can only buy in with $100 at a time….which is a good thing for me because I like to lose about 5 buyins within an hour or two just screwing around.  I’ll try and tip the waitresses excessively so at least the degens aren’t getting all of my money.  The stakes aren’t high enough to try and play to make money and it’s just fun going out and playing cards with my friends.  Something strange usually ends up happening at the table, Florida cardrooms have their fair share of degenerates and weirdos that’s for sure!
