Ultimate Blackjack Tour UBT Sparks Interest

Blackjack is expected to reach new heights with the up and coming Ultimate Blackjack Tour (UBT) airing on CBS September 16th.
What has sparked interest among Blackjack players is the World Series of Blackjack which is currently being aired on GSN. Controversial lawsuits have been brought up amongst UBT and GSN.
Even poker players like Phil Helmuth and Phil Laak are getting into the action. CBS says we can expect to see these players at the Blackjack tournaments.
These Blackjack tournaments are being compared to poker. The game will involve both skill and luck to determine the winner with prizes expected to reach over $1 million.
The UBT will have secret bets and elimination style tournaments. Their official website (playubt.com) goes in depth on how the show and game will be played.
The Ultimate Blackjack Tour will run for two seasons. CBS will be the televised sponsor showing the tournament episodes for both seasons. The UBT was so confident in their new Elimination Blackjack that they have placed a patent on it.
Ken Einiger will be playing in the events along with poker professionals and amateurs. Many of the blackjack players will be coming from Las Vegas as the UBT invited 100 of the top players from that destination.
