Washington State Poker Sites – Updated!

Due to recent developments in Washington State, many poker players are looking for a place to play online poker after Poker Stars abruptly abandonded the State due to a recent legal proceeding.
In a recent update on Nov.12, 2010 Full Tilt Poker as did AP and UB in March 2011 have blocked Washington poker players. The following are poker sites that accept players from Washington State.
1. BoVada.lv
2. All the other sites that were listed here have pulled out of Washington state.
These are the primary sites that accept players from Washington State. Please note that while we do not have Full Tilt Poker on the list, we expect them to follow the same route that Pokerstars did. What basically happened was simple. Washington State has always said it was illegal to play at online poker sites if you live in that state. Last week there was a ruling that upheld this law, and while nothing really changed Pokerstars decided to change it’s stance on the market after consultation from their lawyers.
Full Tilt poker always likes to play the, “we abide by all laws” but feel the UIGEA doesn’t concern poker. But, states like Washington are one of the few that make it illegal for the actual player and not the cardroom. Despite this fact, tens of thousands of players still play at Washington State poker sites without concern for the law. We can not condone it, but simply state the facts.
Other popular online poker sites such as PlayersOnly, Carbon Poker and Sportsbook Poker have had long standing blockage of players from Washington State so the recent developments by Pokerstars are nothing new.
