What Happens Now with U.S.A Poker

What’s done is done but USA poker players are beginning to ask, “What happens now”.
Now that the bill has passed, many poker sites have shut down to Americans. The government is working on ways to stop gambling transactions and we have to wonder what is going to happen next?
We will continue to see certain poker sites open to USA for as long as they can. Many casual poker players will drop out of the scene. These will be the casual players who followed the fad.
Many of these casual players that drop out of the game will make the games slightly harder to make money at ONLY if you’re at non-US friendly poker sites. The bigger sites that are still taking American players will attract thousands of new players and the sharks will follow.
With the consolidation and closing of thousands of poker rooms many players won’t notice the drop in players. If they play at poker sites accepting Americans then action will be plentiful. Other countries will play where the Americans are because that’s where the action will be lose and fast.
Poker Stars is positioned to become the next Party Poker with Full Tilt and Bodog lurking.
There will be a 9 month period where banks and the US government will try to determine the best solution for stopping payments to gambling sites. Some say it will take years to properly implement the plans of the government.
Poker players will continue to find innovative ways around the laws but some players will just disappear. In the end the total amount of players continuing to play online poker will drop but the total players at USA accepted poker sites will increase bigger than what we saw at Party Poker.
